1. What is eVidya?
eVidya is a comprehensive Online Administration & Management Software solution specially designed for educational institutions, developed by Trizile Technology Services India Pvt Ltd.( www.trizile.com ). It is a simple and affordable solution to help them manage the entire administration with ease and efficiency. eVidya provides a means to collate all information related to the school activities and stake holders, manage and access them easily to help the authorities make quick and informed decisions. It also helps students, teachers and parents to stay connected, while they also have continuous access to all required information online to monitor the overall performance of the students. Since this application is developed using SaaS(Software as a Service), each institute would use the solution as a service in an extremely secure space which is exclusively allocated to it.
2. What are the various features/services that eVidya provides?
The core eVidya product has all the common features and functions required for an institution's administration and management like user database management, class assignments and student promotions, transcripts, results management, timetable management, teacher-class allocation and workload management, curriculum management, fees administration, attendance and leave management, courses and syllabus, homework and project assignments, communication with parents, students and teachers, MIS and Management Reports etc. Besides the core features, separate modules (called eVidya Platinum add-on modules) are available for institutes to meet their special needs like School Vehicle Tracking System, Library Management, Online Fee Payment, Student admission and enrollment, Online Test administration system etc. Please click here for more details.
3.3. Is eVidya right for my educational institute?
eVidya is suitable for all educational institutions including primary-schools, middle schools, high schools, colleges, professional institutions, Tuition centers and Play schools.
4. Who all can access eVidya services?
eVidya modules can be accessed by Students, teachers, parents, the management team and Trustees/Directors. Institutes that opt for the add-on modules can also be accessed by vendors, wardens etc depending on the chosen module.
5. What is eVidya's pricing strategy?
eVidya School Management Solution (www.evidya.co.in) is hosted centrally and is offered as a SaaS service (hosted service). This means that schools do not have to install any software at their premises and there will not be any need to maintain any server machines or software applications at the Schools. Thus the pricing is based on a Service subscription model. This means that the school does not have to ‘buy’ the product spending a huge lump-sum amount. The school need to pay only an annual subscription fee calculated based on the number of students. However, based on the institution's specific needs, a suitable, flexible pricing model can be worked out. The monthly subscription reduces as the number of students increases. There are no additional charges for maintenance, support, training, software upgrades etc.
6. Does eVidya team provide services such as loading/migrating all historical data of the school?
Yes! eVidya team does provide this service during the on-boarding of an institute to migrate all historical data into the eVidya school portal.
7. Can eVidya do my school's website?
eVidya can design and host the school's website at no additional cost when the institute signs up with eVidya.

11. How will eVidya help me as a teacher?

c) You can view the graphical analysis of your individual student's performance over a period of time.
d) You can send notes to the parents online regarding their ward's performance.

12. I am a parent who is not a computer literate. Can someone help me register myself on eVidya?
Yes, the eVidya coordinator will be help you with this.
13. I am a parent who does not have a computer at home. How do I access the info on eVidya?
The information is accessible or available from anywhere. You can just walk up to your neighborhood internet cafe to access the information. Most parents are already doing this when it comes to checking their kids Class X results.
14. 14. As a school, do I need to purchase multiple PCs to access eVidya or install eVidya locally on all the PCs?
No. eVidya is hosted on a powerful server with high-speed connectivity located in a huge datacenter in the USA and can be accessed from anywhere in the world using a PC with an internet connection. One PC at the school is preferable but not a must.
15. I forgot my password. How to retrieve my password?
Click on the 'Forgot Password' button on your login page. Type your email id in the box and click on send. Your password will be sent to you by email to the id provided by you.
16. Can eVidya be customized for my school?

17. Can I personalize eVidya to suite the theme of my school's website?
Yes, you can personalize your page with the color or the template of your choice.
18. Is there a limit on the number of students a school should have to subscribe to eVidya?
No, there is no minimum or maximum limit on the number of students.
19. Is it possible to generate revenue through eVidya for our institute?
Yes. There is an opportunity to post advertisement on eVidya portal to generate revenue for your institute. Revenue generated from the advertisements you bring in will be shared with you. The team at eVidya takes care of posting advertisement you collect.
20. How do I provide my feedback or lodge a complaint/bug with regard to certain features in eVidya?
eVidya has a customer support portal to lodge complaints or suggest feedback on eVidya product features. This is accessible to all the users of eVidya. You can also contact our customer support center through email or phone anytime.
21. Do you help in managing day-to-day activities of the school once eVidya is deployed at our institute?
eVidya will provide a dedicated eVidya certified person to manage the school data and upload it to the website on a daily basis. This resource is provided free of cost to each school for the initial 6 months.
22. How secure is my institute's data?
Each school is hosted on an independent and exclusive database and on secure PCI compliant server. You own your database and it is not accessible by any other schools/persons other than your school administrator. Only the school administrator will have the full access to the School Database. The data is password protected and the data transfer is encrypted for sensitive information
23. Do you share the eVidya client list with other schools?
No! eVidya team does not share any information of one school with other schools and eVidya customer list is not shared. eVidya can also get into a confidentiality agreement with the schools, if needed.
24. Is eVidya suited for residential schools? Or is it only for day schools?
eVidya has add-on modules for residential schools such as – Hostel management, Library Management, Vendor Management, Asset Management, Purchase Order Management, Transportation management etc. These modules can be additionally subscribed as per School's needs. eVidya’s core modules cater to both day school as well as residential schools.
25. Is the subscription fee to be paid for all 12 months in the year?
Yes. The fee is charged for all the 12 months, since the school's data would be getting updated during holidays. The website needs to be managed all 12 months of the year and cannot be taken offline during two months vacation. eVidya team needs to take care of managing data during the vacation in preparation for the next academic year. However, when you sign up with eVidya this year the initial two months of subscription is provided free of cost.
26. How do I pay eVidya subscription fees?
Payment is made in advance for the academic year. Payments can also be made on a half yearly basis.
You can avail discounts for full payment for the year.
27. Which are the browsers that support eVidya?
