"Sometimes the things that matter to you most are also the things that hurt you the most.” - Colleen Hoover
Sometimes life gives us second chance when least expected. A career oriented women Vedika meets a deducated Dr. Gaurang, for her daughter’s medical condition. Life had been transformed for an ambitious Vedika with unrealistic marriage, competitive career, special need child and adding to all is her newly developed feeling for Dr. Gaurang. Unexpected entry of a character whom she least expects at this time occurs. What has the fate kept in store for Vedika and Gaurang?
First of all, to understand the turmoil of emotions and complex decisions involved, i believe the story would be much glamceable to people above 25. Being a women with a career, questionable marraige life and a daughter who is not going through challenging times sounds really emotional for Vedika. Society fails to understand what a working women go through. It was mesmerizing to feel the emotions and being able to relate to it. A blend of characters and their emotional thoughts are so authentic. Author's narrative style is blending well with the readers where we connect with feelings and emotions of the protogonists.
Dr. Gaurang's role is framed in an attractive way, where we goes beyond his power to help Samiksha. Some marriages look perfect, they might make people jealous, but successful marriage is the one where the time passes the duties are shared equally by the partners. When one of the partner is free to do as per their wish, the other suffers more than one could handle and becomes vulnerable. When you hear succesfull love stories and happy endings, this book reflects societal pressure, realistic martiage life, children with special needs, good hearted medical professionals and much more! A worth reading !
